This year, at the Farnborough International Airshow, Bromford had a stronger presence than previous years, due to our multiple locations both in halls and chalets (two meeting rooms). Even though the show wasn’t visited as well as previous years, our team was extremely busy throughout.
The acquisition of the American component manufacturer – AeroCision, who is now integrated into the Bromford Group, has influenced our decision to exhibit in Hall 2, within the US Pavilion. The US Pavilion complemented the main messages our company wanted to share with the aerospace industry, which were: “Bromford Going Global” & “Investment in Cutting-Edge Technology”. Our main theme for this year’s show was “Celebration of Success”, which was embraced based on the acquisitions, winning new business and the significant machine investments that happen at Bromford on a continuous basis.
During the show, we managed to strengthen existing relationships with our customers and create new ones. Bromford also engaged with industry media to further promote our key messages and market position. Our CEO, Gary Lowe, gave an exclusive interview to the Farnborough International News Network (FINN), where he talked about our growth strategy through new business and acquisitions. Gary Lowe explained: “AeroCision are a Rolls-Royce supplier, and were supplier of the year to Rolls-Royce a couple of years ago, which is a really good award and testimony to their management team. Also, with AeroCision India – we now have a facility in Bangalore so we can offer a low-cost solution to our customers, which is obviously important because we all understand that being cost-competitive is very important in the industry as it grows.”
